RESPONSE TO POST: "Georgia gun range gets ok to serve alcohol"

(18,101 posts)In answer to obvious concerns about weapon possession and inebriation, the owners nod to a Georgia law stating that individuals with gun permits are allowed to bring their weapons into restaurants serving alcohol. They also plan to follow standard measures for most gun clubs, including background checks and contracts for members. Still, some community members remain concerned about the radical facility.

(151,540 posts)It's about alcohol and guns, but mostly about guns. It belongs in the RKBA Group, rather than in GD. Besides, the link you provided produces an error, and the story is not at that link. Please repost in RKBA with a working link. It should stimulate a discussion there, I'm sure.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
