This Machine Kills Fascists
The Life and Music of Woody Guthrie
-------------------------
I actually just watched a bio on Bob Dylan, who as a young artist idolized Woody Guthrie.
There was a brief story of the parallel between the two & this pic was shown in that story.
This article at link is an amazing read about the life of Woody Guthrie & folk music & his dive into various political beliefs at the time of Comunism, Nuclear threats & the Great Depression.
--------------------------

Woody is just a voice and a guitar. He sings the songs of the people and I suspect that is, in a way, the people .There is nothing sweet about Woody, and there is nothing sweet about the songs he sings. But there is something more important for those who will listen. There is the will of the people to endure and fight against oppression. I think we call this the American spirit.
*Appears every generation has been fighting the fascist threat.

Time for Americans to grow up and recognize what is happening before it's too late.

I'm working my way through David Crosby's TWO autobiographies (that's what happens when you outlive the first - he kinda' had reason not to expect that!).
LOVE to see that he's keeping active in social issues and putting it out there for America!
