Is it just me, or are DEMOCRATS F***ING KILLING IT the last couple of nights?!?

I feel like these two nights have been completely amazing.

And let me also say ... Joe was the right person for this time.

There is no longer any doubt in my mind.

Am I wrong?

I had my reservations over this one. I realize in COVID times, and the complete failure of the President to control it, the TV convention was necessary, but I could not visualize it.

I am converted. This has been amazing. The message is getting out and getting out with purpose, direction, compassion and precision.

If this is the future, I am comfortable.

changing their mind... That's the messed up situation we are in -- most people are not going to watch either convention, and fewer still will watch both so as to see the contrast.

I would take issue with Biden over loads of policy and rhetorical issues of we were ever to discuss policy and its presentation just the two of us, but I would literally risk my life to cast a vote for him in this election. Because Trump as POTUS means certain death for so many of us...

But that is the contrast, isn't it? The Biden/Harris ticket = hope, kindness, empathy, a bringing together.

The Trump/Pence ticket - divisiveness, polarization, racism, xenophobia, FEAR.

Hope vs fear and hatred.

As i went on my long walk today with my daughter i rewatched on my fone all the clips MSNBC had, and earlier rewatched the roll call. My little puppy jumped on my lap & we both cheered for every state when the speaker said "X votes for Joe Biden"

This whole thing was so well done, and reflective of the fact Joe surrounds himself with the best people, in contrast to the Idiot. Everything he touches dies.

YouTube glitched rather badly during the bio piece, but I’m assuming that was an incident local to the server/server farm that was streaming to my connection. (Watched the direct DNC, not one of the commercial channels.)

Incredible technology, try to guess how many how many tens—hundreds of thousands—millions?—of physical and virtual servers were streaming the videos? I remember one of the first timeS Apple tried to stream One of the WWDC (annual developers conference) keynote speeches .... not impressive...

But like many traditions, they've failed to stay up to date. Much less lead. One silver lining here in quarantine time is we've discovered smart ways to connect. I'm sure it's always been a blast to be in those big halls but this virtual convention is engaging millions in more personal, impactful ways.

Even aside from the GOP's lack of content and character, she said that from her experience in campaigns she knows that the RNC doesn't have anyone who could produce something like this.

I have to think that the RNC also got a late start on planning for a virtual convention. Though I imagine they'll try to gather as many people together as possible for Trump.

But they need to stop being so nostalgic by bringing out old relics and focus on young voters and the next generation. They need to motivate young voters to the polls. It is not enough that this demographic does not support Trump. They still need a reason to vote for Biden. His story may not be relatable to the young voter. More outreach is needed. This has been spelled out by many young Progressive groups. They vote only at 46%. Imagine if Dems could double the % for Nov 3rd.
