19. This seems improbable, since Putin is an upper echelon official in the Republican Party.

I urge the GOP to reconsider this decision. Putin plays a very important role in the Republican Party and the entire Executive Branch. Please give Putin his due. He shaped US politics in a major way. At a minimum, Putin should be the Keynote Speaker, but the more fitting role he should take is that he should introduce Trump as the party's election nominee at the culmination of the convention. He played a singular and important role in Trump's 2016 victory and should be publicly thanked by the GOP leadership.
