She spoke so well. It was so moving. That is the best I’ve ever seen her do since her injury. I’m so pleasantly surprised that she can still be so eloquent. She’s a true hero.

I knew her for several years even before she was shot. The wound may have impaired her physically, but not in spirit. When I first saw her after she was shot, I was scared she might not recognize me, but she saw me from across the room and reached out and waited for me to come over and give her a hug. Same old wonderful Gabby.

Her talk was stunning, and what I'll never forget is her closing - "on January 20, I want to say just two words, MADAM PRESIDENT!"

I'll never forget that moment. I truly hope that Mark Kelly defeats Martha McSally BIG TIME!
