Major price reduction on LADY MAY
The owner of LADY MAY has instructed us to reduce her asking price significantly, by EUR 4,100,000 to EUR 24,900,000.
LADY MAY is a 46.2m (151.6ft) all-aluminium yacht delivered by Feadship, De Vries of The Netherlands in 2014 with engineering and exteriors by Dubois Naval Architects and interiors by RWD. This impeccable pedigree won her a clutch of awards at the ShowBoats Design Awards 2015, including both naval architecture and exterior design for Dubois and interior design in a yacht under 500GT for RWD. Boat International was moved to ask 'Is LADY MAY the most innovative superyacht ever?'

A media company linked to former Trump political adviser Steve Bannon and exiled Chinese businessman Guo Wengui raised more than $300 million in a private offering this spring that is now being investigated by federal and state authorities, say people familiar with the matter.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Wells Fargo & Co. have frozen accounts tied to fundraising for the company, GTV Media Group, some of these people said. Bank of America Corp. also closed an account for GTV Medias parent company shortly after it was opened in recent months, another person with knowledge of the situation said.
The federal probe is being conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Securities and Exchange Commission, people familiar with the investigation said. The investigators have been examining whether GTV Media or associates of Mr. Guo violated securities laws through the private share placement. The New York state attorney generals office has also been examining the matter, these people said.

(14,939 posts)Excerpt...
The range of people targeted by Xis anti-corruption campaign is extensive. The list includes army generals, 35 members of the partys influential Central Committee, nine members of the partys internal disciplinary body, as well as senior officials, such as a former Chinese presidents chief of staff. Most telling, though, are the two highest-ranking officials prosecuted: Xis main political rivals, Bo Xilai and Zhou Yongkang. A powerful party chief known for his charisma and political potential, Bo was taken down when crimes committed by his family members were exposed at a time politically advantageous for Xi: shortly before Bo was expected to be appointed to the influential Politburo Standing Committee. Not long after, Minister of Public Security and a member of the same committee Bo was set to join, Zhou Yongkang, a rumored close friend and ally of Bos, was brought up on similar charges. Seemingly, the sole basis of the case against him was his alleged connection to a political rival of Xis. This correlation between indictments of high-level political figures and their political benefit to Xi is indicative of the alternate use that Xi has found for his anti-corruption campaign. Interestingly enough, one of the criticisms made against Bo by a longstanding party chief was that Bo revived songs and culture representative of Maos Cultural Revolution. The very same ones that, ironically, are now a constant feature of Chinese television under Xis administration.
