It will survive as a fringe party of discounted-deplorables attracting the racist, jingoist, ill-bred, in-bred, unwashed-brainwashed bores. The bois will rule over them, with extreme prejudice.

The new Lincoln Party of the closeted rich and fabulously wealthy and totally devoted to basic book-keeping bois will rise to counter any sensibilities of commonwealth.
Some of today's democrats will join them because what good is a commonwealth if you can't grab some for yourself?

The Democratic Party will move (or be pushed) more forcibly to the left and will embrace the commonwealth currently claimed by the capitalist oligarchy.

America will follow the party pipers to their preferred shore. There will be a redistribution of sensibilities; a continuum from the senseless right to the most sensible left.
