I am so grateful for Joe Biden.

We're all so fortunate that he ran.

I've felt for a long time that he was the leader we needed now, uniquely qualified to put an end to Trump's chaos -- and then heal our nation.

His brilliant speech tonight sealed that recognition, for me.

We needed this man, at this time.

God bless you, Joe Biden.

And thank you!

.... from the start. My biggest fear from the time people started announcing their candidacy, was that Joe Biden would not run. Thank you Joe, and thank you Jill for giving us a few more of your precious years.

... but I was WRONG.

I'm grateful that he got the nomination and to everyone who helped make it possible!

I had the privilege of meeting Joe in January when he was campaigning in Iowa. I got to shake his hand, and he was thrilled when I told him I had caucused for him in 2008. Got a nice picture with him, too....

He has just the right experience and understanding of our government that will right this ship of state, and I think it will be quicker with him at the helm than with any of the other former candidates that ran in this race. I loved the clip where the former rivals all talked. They all seemed so happy....This convention made me feel very happy and hopeful, like there's light at the end of the very dark tunnel we've been moving through.

Biden absolutely proved tonight that he is exactly the right nominee. The man fits the moment. The moment fits the man. A bravo speech, the perfect end note to lead us out of the darkness.

We're going to win this thing!

Can-do attitude to us. The thing is he can. He’s not only a decent and kind man, but a highly accomplished and qualified one. Also happy he chose Kamala Harris! They will do great things together. I am sure Trump/GOP died a little with that announcement.
