It says so right there in its name. DeJoy the baby-chicken-killer should just resign on national TV and walk out.

Our Niece's Hubby is a UPS Super, they go till all of their Load is Peddled and the only time a Truck returns with product is,has to be a emergency. Not unusual too ferry a relief Driver or in case of Equipment breakdown, ferry a different truck and do a transfer, but, all packages and letters do get delivered unless there are issues with delivery Addresses or product on the wrong route.

Not surprised that someone like DeJoy would not know what the real story is.

Mr deJoy's point is that none of the product that comes in after departure time is put out for delivery, whereas in the USPS, the effort heretofore has been to ensure that all mail that comes in the morning goes out in the delivery, which adds time and cost (and thus affects profit).

Bottom line, he has been retained to make the USPS operate like a for-profit business, not a government service. Although that's really bullshit, he's been retained to demonstrate that the USPS cannot succeed as a business, and should therefore be privatized. He's off to a good start in that.

into our Postal Station after route's are out,is handled on a priority bases. Carriers are notified if they have Amazon or Priority Mail and a transfer point is setup from these pieces to be delivered.

Sounds like DeJoy has no clue once again. Just trying to CYA. Our local Station suffers from a lack of man power. BTW,no one is talking about all the Trucks that are down for repairs.

Not only out to privatize USPS. Out to hammer Bezos as well. DeJoy does have a clue. He knows what he wants to do. Essentially, privatize our postal service and do some heavy damage to Bezos while at it.

Trump should need to campaign on destroying the Postal Service and be elected with that on the table. When he loses in Nov it should be regarded as a rejection of those plans and everything else he is doing. No postal service changes allowed at all.

Remember how McConnell, in Feb or Mar of 2016, stole our Supreme Court seat that we voted for Obama to be able to appoint? I regard it as "my seat."

Oh no, "the voters had to weigh in on that" 10 months later. Wouldn't even let my Supreme Court Justice, Merrick Garland, into the Senate building for meet and greets.

No postal service privatization. The voters must decide. The voters must reject the plans and similar plans to destroy Social Security and Medicare by throwing trump out in a landslide.

When can we say the military loses money?

The postal service has the word service in it's name. It's to serve the American people in many areas where they don't get private delivery services or can't afford the higher prices.

This is completely ON CONGRESS, which outsourced its control of USPS to a postal board back in the Bush days.

CONGRESS has to regain control of the USPS.

"Investigating" postmaster generals is more work than just properly managing the USPS itself.

go look at the profits of private industry for government contracting.

Any time you add shareholders you bleed profits out of the business. It's just more expensive.

These GOP clowns will get the price of USPS delivery so high as to shut down ecommerce.

If mail was left in the office, the supervisors would drive it out to the carriers and see it was delivered.
