Lots of fabrication, stretching, tenuous associations, misinterpretations (knowing & deliberate), and more.

A prominent example is the Solyndra scandal.

The facts are that the company duped a compliant Department of Energy. I wonder if it had Bush holdovers because the department officials didn't exercise proper controls and dismissed the idea that the company had financial problems that would prevent the loan from being paid back. Obama's WH Staff pushed the Dept of Energy. Further it was the first loan guarantee of the 2009 economic stimulus plan, a plan that finished in the black overall.

Emails showed that the Obama administration had concerns about the legality of the Department of Energy's loan restructuring plan and warned OMB director Jeffrey D. Zients that the plan should be cleared with the Department of Justice first, which the Department of Energy had not done. The emails also revealed that, as early as August 2009, an aide to then-White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel had asked a Department of Energy official if he could discuss any concerns among the investment community about Solyndra but that the official dismissed the idea that Solyndra had financial problems.[36]

But to hear the RW lie machine talk, they say Obama gave away $500 million to cronies or some such.

The only good thing to come out of the Obama years was Michele's speech at the DNC which was given again at the 2016 RNC by Melania Trump. Similarly, I suspect, the speech Michele gave at this year's DNC that everyone said was amazingly effective will likely also be used by the RNC. So the Democrats have at least raised the literary standards for First Lady's speeches to a level unreachable by the groveling pre-literati of the GOP.
