https://www.democraticunderground.com/100213941166I will admit I was wrong about all the news and it taking away from Biden's night. I think back to 2016 and all the negative on Hillary I truly worried the Media would follow the same pattern oh Biden has a huge lead lets bang him up so it isn't a blow out. I still worry as we get closer to November.
I am also nervous as hell as the election comes closer. I don't put it pass Trump and with GOP's blessing do more to harm this country.

Fat Donny is an incoherent, babbling fool. I have every faith in my bro Joe and my sis Kamala.

(816 posts)his candidacy. Maybe it is living in a red area of PA but the more bad news about Trump the more that would destroy an other person's career seems to make certain people praise him more. It is down right scary

(7,715 posts)with the Trump campaign to neutralize the effects of the Access Hollywood tapes WITHIN ONE HOUR of its release (as per the Senate Intelligence Committee's report released this week), you can kinda' see how the tenor shifted.
These fools (both in Russia and the Reputincan party) are really vicious. However, they ain't very smart.
I wonder how many of us are going to have a nice cup of tea or mysteriously fall out of a window. Putin thinks the US is Russia, and that was his big mistake, in addition to picking a buffoon like Trump.

That's just for starters.

(51,974 posts)politically, at least. they've got a horrendous candidate with a horrendous track record and years of alienating everyone outside the shrinking republican party itself.
their appeal to independents is reduced by the fact that our candidate is also a white male. sexism and racism sucks and we will address it when biden is president, but in practice it helps us that the sexism from having a woman candidate and racism from having a black president 4 years ago is not going to be as a big factor this time for that reason. of course they will nevertheless make bigoted appeals, but it's harder to get as much mileage out of that when both candidates are white men.
moreover, they had spend 25 years bashing hillary and that's why comey's despicable publicizing about "reopening" the email case based on zero actual new information had such an impact. they just don't have anything like that against biden. all the attacks against biden feel recent and made up and really just don't apply.
plus we're doing it right. the convention was very well-produced, unified, and helpful to biden's image.
the only thing they have is cheating, and that's what we have to look out for.
