It's not, but the talking heads refuse to frame it as such. They will try to create a horserace out of a poll showing the turd losing by 30 points.

After Biden wins, this whole media/lies being passed off as truth issue needs to be addressed. A news channel should NOT be free to tell lies and say they are the truth.

Sure we have the freedom to say whatever we want. I mean WHATEVER WE WANT. THAT is freedom of speech. But freedom of speech is not the freedom to present false as true, as an accepted NEWS outlet.

We don't have the time to deal with it now, but after Biden is in WE THE PEOPLE need to assert our own power.

There are enough of us to cause the complete collapse of ANY business on this planet. We have to be willing to work together, as one. All we have to do is pick ONE company, and as one, DUMP their stock. Maybe Soros, Buffet, Bloomberg would be willing to join in. ANY company is susceptible.

Most of us do not own stocks, but we can certainly boycott, set up protest lines outside businesses, cause people to question whether it is worth it to do business with them.

The purpose is to give notice that things are going to change, and then take steps to back up that declaration.

ANY news channel whose talking head pundits had to run a gauntlet of angry Americans every time they entered or left their place of work, followed by the dumping of the stock of that news outlet, would start to pay attention.

Or, we can sit on our collective asses and do nothing.

If WE THE PEOPLE actually took our power back from the rich and the corporations, imagine what could be accomplished!!! ALL these life threatening issues could be addressed.

We don't realize the power we have.

Trump's current rhetoric and actions point to a very real threat which would be foolish to ignore and for which it would be wise to prepare.

Asking this POtuS the question shines a spotlight on the threat.

The threat consists of Trump's efforts to undermine trust in the election and to suppress/sabotage voting -- and potential violence by magats during and after the election.

All of this needs to be confronted head-on now and through the election to counter Trump's efforts, to reduce the likelihood of violence, and to preempt the possibility that Trump with the aid of the Republican Party with its Senate majority can somehow block implementation of election results that go against them.

Do you doubt for one minute they will do everything they can to hold onto their power?

The worst case scenario should not be dismissed as too farfetched. We have to prepare for the worst in order to ensure the best possible outcome.

They rarely call him out on his lies (except for the Huff Post reporter and a few “nasty women”). And they ask inane questions like whether he will accept the results. It isn’t news that he will use an army of lawyers to challenge the vote in swing states. They keep giving him air time to falsely claim that voting by mail will result in all kinds of fraud. Why won’t some reporter cite the evidence his lawyers presented in his Pennsylvania case where they could cite no mail fraud the next time he makes this claim? Most people have probably not even heard of this case.

The media supposedly examined its role in turning the public against Hillary Clinton in 2016. They coddled Trump then, and they have continued to coddle him to this day.

I'm glad he's being asked. Our side is preparing in a way we didn't in 2016. In hindsight, had we known how lawless this man is, maybe we could done something to stop him then. Who knows. But, we get it now, and everyone must be prepared.

Lincoln project is telling people to prepare for all manner of crazy, but to stay the course.

34. They essentially asked President Washington the same question.
Sat Aug 22, 2020, 10:56 AM

He was more concerned about getting out of the office than retaining it for additional terms, so history rarely quotes his response on the subject. But for you edification, Washington, when asked about dealing with an executive reluctant to accept the results of an election, replied, " kick the son-of-a-bitch in his balls. Then punch him in the gut with a hot cannon ball. Pour red hot musket balls down his throat and then shoot him in the balls." Regarding a third term, the great man said, "you can lick my balls." Reported by one regarding that day's exchange, "he literally 'spit his teeth' explosively" in response to that query.
Historians have pretty much pushed Washington's obsession with balls into the more obscure realms of presidential biography and while many of the Continental Army general staff rode their mounts into battle high-in-the-saddle(so to speak), none would nay-say their beloved commander. He is/was, however, noted and locally famous for his life long interest into the science of animal husbandry.
