9. I find these photos confusing.

In the first pair, the tree closest to the building looks bigger in the "before" (left) photo than in the "after" right photo, implying that it could be the "after." There appear to be roses in the "after" photo but not in the "before" but it is hard to tell, because the left photo is early spring (tulips in bloom; roses would be dormant or just beginning to leaf out). The sidewalks in the photo below these look more like the right photo that appears to show roses in bloom.

The angle on the 1923 photo is so different from the others that it is hard to compare.

I stay close to home because of covid of course but there is a mandatory mask bylaw where I live so it feels safer. My family is well thank goodness, I don't see them often even though they don't live very far except for one of my grandchildren who lives with me now.

I am proud of our government in how they have handled the covid crisis so far, they did the difficult thing and shut everything down while they provided funds for Canadians who were unable to work and they are still providing it so far.

that says everything about the people there being responsible and taking this horrible virus seriously. We have had one death where I live but Edmonton, which is our neighbour, did really well at first but now has a serious outbreak as soon as they started opening things up and has has a number of deaths, mostly in long term care homes.

It is great to have my grandson here, he is great company and our personalities are very similar which makes it work very well. We are really more like roommates than grandma and grandson. He is very close to publishing his book so it has been very exciting with a touch of nail biting nervousness on my part, lol.
