I was at one of the PO demonstrations today and one person told me about her coworker...

who had dual citizenship and wanted to see her dying mother in France. She could get to France on her French passport, but was afraid she might not be able to get back.

All my life the world has been getting smaller and more open and friendly, and now in my declining years it has come to this. For absolutely no good reason a woman cannot see her dying mother. Kids in cages, trade wars, families disrupted, students finding promises broken...

And in the "greatest nation in the world" homelessness, unemployment, starvation, and Hoovervilles again.

You wonder what the fuck was the point.

Stephen Miller, Trump is too stupid to dream this stuff by himself-- you are the demon whispering it into his orange ear.

There is no punishment great enough on this earth, which is why we dreamed up Hell for your sort of evil.

Trump’s too self absorbed (and dense) to think about anything but himself. He got many of his “Policies” from Fox. If he parroted them, he was sure of fawning praise. He was so easy to manipulate. Just ask N. Korea, Turkey, Russia...

I place ALL of the blame on the MIC which has allowed inequity and evil to rise in the guise of rich asshats who only want two things: money and the means to wave their d**ks so everyone can be envious. The rampant greed of these animals, not to mention their desire to program the population to do their bidding, has created this society. And somehow, we still revere anyone with wealth. Even after they show just how inhuman and indifferent they are to anyone but themselves and their wallets, even after they sit and whine about the shutdown and try to force the wage slaves to go back to making these pricks more money. The propaganda machine has been in existence long before Fox came around. The evil that is modern American society did not just spring into being 30 years ago.

Millions of Americans lapped up the reality show hosted by the ugly thing in our White House. They keep kidding themselves into thinking that these so-called wealthy people are going to do something for them or give them some sort of plan to wake up one morning and find that they too are wealthy. While they are picking their pockets, the goobers are saying "thank you".

There should be a course in high school about how to recognize propaganda.

However, most of our society would collapse because the majority of it is propaganda based. To expose this fact would decimate our culture... which is exactly what is needed, in my opinion.

the French kick us out(though we have no place to go).

Recently had a conversation with a friend in California who asked when we were going back to the US to visit. We told him that unless there's a workable vaccine and the US changes, we're never going back. There is nothing there for us. Absolutely nothing.
Which is a tough thing to say. But has to be said.

We Americans have screwed up in so many ways, and I'm not sure that anything is going to get us back on the road to what we could have been. Certainly, as the expression goes, not in my lifetime.

I will add that living here is not a hardship and I'm not complaining. I'm very fortunate. Had we stayed in the US, I'd be dead.

And he’s all in on making that happen. Probably because he, too, is all about domination. But I suspect he realized he has to latch onto a bigger bully because he’s too much of a little weasel to dominate on his own.

We can’t afford the “we need to move forward and not look back” stuff.

That’s like just having the house painted without doing anything to clean or otherwise prepare the surface before you paint it. Just paint over the cracks and the bugs and the dirt and the cobwebs and the rust and the deterioration and the cracks and the leaves that are all crumbled up in the corners.

We have to face this and CLEAN HOUSE. Identify, round up, and take out all the garbage - straight to prosecution, conviction, and imprisonment.

And btw, that’s the trump way. Just paint over it and nobody will notice. And then it’ll be somebody else’s problem.

YEAH don't drink the disinfectant!

Although I wouldn't mind seeing LOTS of disinfectant to sanitize the White House after the trumps vacate. God only knows if he's going to have the bed peed on, on his way out. Note to White House staff: Get all new mattresses! And call the fumigators - have the whole place tented!

Heck, I'd even call an exorcist - AND some tribal chieftains and holy men - to make sure the building's been purified of all leftover evil hoodoo. I'd get rid of ALL the "gold" colored stuff in the Oval Office - the drapes, the big oval area rug, EVERYTHING. NO MORE "GOLD" ANYTHING in there. And I'd get a new chair for the Resolute Desk. I would NOT want to sit in any chair trump sat in.

Of course, any real 'cleaning' will expose more than the Trump mess... it will expose so much of our society for its roots in oppression and empty propaganda that it will be much more than the current administration that will collapse. I have to say again that the evil that is the rethug party did not just start with Cheetolini. They and their ilk are responsible for so much lack of progress and forward thinking in the name of their wallets and their illusion of power that it will take some serious changes to get us back on track. Unfortunately, the American people have not shown much desire to fix their own society, mostly due to the delusional propaganda fostered by the rethugs. Face it, when an administration collects as many indictments as this one, and it is still in power, there is little hope for an easy fix to our situation.
