The whole family is sick, but this dynamic is far more common than we like to admit.

12. Ignoring or covering up for his serious limitations is the worst part, IMO.

I've suspected a slow form of dementia all along; all the symptoms are there. In most families, someone would take charge and seek help. This bunch just keeps the $$$ rolling in. Probably all of them will abandon him eventually. Or trot him out for a price.
