This convention unintentionally asks the philosophical question: What do you need so badly that you would debase yourself for Donald Trump
Don't reflexively say "nothing." Desperation will humble a person. I don't know my answer. But I'm not so proud as to think I don't have one
It probably involves my children. I'm old. There's nothing I need for myself in life so desperately that I'd let myself be used as a prop by this man.
But, if there was something my children needed. Like, I dunno, their heads attached to their shoulders...
