Did the MAGA shooter kill in self defense in WI?

I watched the videos available, and in no way could I see that the first shooting was done in any way as self defense. He shot a dude in the head after a plastic bag was thrown at him. Then he killed one more after people tried to stop him. Did I see that wrong?

But RWNJs and gun-humpers are saying things like "he defended himself from a lynching at the hands of violent looters" and the like.

30. It's basically hollering fire in a crowded theatre. He showed up with a gun he wasn't legally

allowed to have to a protest with the intention of stopping the protestors.

He will claim self defense and rely on his white privilege and age to escape jail time. Also he will likely become a cult hero to the sick diseased MAGA crowd.

How all that works out for him, I don't know. I know how it worked out for the two people dead. People that didn't have to die had the shooter followed the law and basic common sense. He is a murderer every bit as a man that shouts fire in a crowd.

7. Unfortunately, in Florida, things are close to what you laid out.

A guy can be menacing you with a gun. If you don’t make a clear effort to retreat, he can shoot you dead and claim self defense under the Stand Your Ground law. The law in fucking insane. Fortunately, out of our 21 million people, close to 20,990 people are sane enough to not murder someone simply for not running away from them when they pull a gun.

... about what lead up to the first shooting.

Earlier videos, prior to the shootings, showed him with other armed white guys. What happened to them? Why weren't they shooting people? Why wasn't some protestor pursuing them?

The right-wingers defending him are often claiming the white protestor seen chasing him threw a Molotov cocktail at the young idiot. It didn't look that way to me! Don't know exactly what it was.

And Rittenhouse fired his gun 8 freakin' times during that encounter, by my count!
