The leadership completely ignores it, like the Republic party is not doing it on purpose.

(11,086 posts)The only purpose of the use of "Democrat Party" is to "own" libtards. They think complaining means they are being successful.
If you have a plan, you lead and I'll follow.

(19,956 posts)that at least the House could cite them for violating the rules of decorum for using a pejorative on the House floor. The word "Democrat" is not an adjective and using it as one is pejorative.
The first time I saw it was years ago on the Internet written as DemocRAT. I've always assumed that is the pejorative usage they are pushing.

(90,526 posts)If you respond or correct the GOPers, they know theyve gotten under your skin and they double down.
Dont you remember Ted Cruzs presidential campaign? Trump insulted his ugly wife and Cruz went on TV and shed tears in her defense. And that was the end of Cruzs bid to be potus.
Trump is a master of this I watched him pull the same thing on 15 other GOP rivals in 2015. He found what got under their skin, and when they reacted with pain or irritation, he knew he had them where he wanted them and stuck the knife in between their ribs and twisted it.
So, no, absolutely not.
