"undecided Michigan voter" on MTP just now: "I want to see what happens..."

He was around 45 to 50, white guy. I wanted to scream " Jesus christ, it's not enough that 177K Americans have died from COVID-19, the economy is in the gutter, he was impeached, etc etc etc ". BS on undecided, I think he's more of a Trump voter who does not want to admit it in public.

His other line was "What has Joe Biden done in 47 years ?". I wanted to scream, again, "A lot you don't know about, obviously!"

Sorry the Reporter did not ask him what he thinks Trump has done in 4 years, not to mention his sordid Previous 47 years. Compare the 2 side by side.

A simple follow up question: “But isn’t this Trump’s America right now?”

But I think it's time that the Biden campaign puts out a one page bullet point list of what he's done.

So the answer is obvious.

I talked to one undecided that said she wanted to see what Trump Said he was going to do. Each week becomes more up lifting. I've shared some stories here. Things have changed since week two. Last night one guy wanted to win me over told me stuff that Trump had done which were of course lies. It went downhill pretty fast. A couple refused to talk after I introduced myself. All in all very positive responses. I actually feel uplifted as I listen and I in turn relate how this time is different. I've done this over 20 years. Whole different vibe.

of course we know he won't but Trump is such a mess they don't want to jump on board with him for sure, and if he doesn't turn around they just won't vote. I am betting on historically LOW Repube turnout from the people who are sick of Trump but don't like Obama/Biden (which is what they see of a Biden ticket).

It’s my belief that if someone is “undecided” at this point they’re likely a Trump voter come November. Unless things turn dramatically worse, if it’s not bad enough for you to say enough, he’s a safer choice because you know what you’re getting. Personally I don’t know how someone looks around and signs off on 4 more years of this, but if it’s still a tough call I think they break for Trump, especially in that middle aged male demographic.

interview.

He said, and I paraphrase, that someone has to do something about businesses being broken into, trashed (something to that effect). And then he repeats Trump's lying talking point about "Biden doing nothing for 47 years".

Those are dumbass statements. Why didn't the fucking interviewer challenge them? Maybe mention that it's Dotard's policies that are causing the problem and the unrest in the first place? No? Maybe point out to him that this is happening under Trump? Why is it so hard to understand that if you leave the same guy who is in charge now that it's not going to go away? It's going to get worse. If he wants it to stop, why not try changing who is in charge?

I realize these people live in an alternate reality, but they are also incapable of any rational thought. They are bonafide morons.

In the lead up to the 2018 elections MSNBC camped out in front of UCI and interviewed students, claimed the enthusiasm wasn't there for the Dem challengers. The specific Dem challenge who ended up winning the Seat, Katie Porter. All House seats flipped to Dems in 2018.

So who here has seen interviews with ex Republicans? Most of the Seats flipped were due to 8 point swings to the Dems.

I have seen tons of interviews with the "Obama to Trump" voters, where are the interviews with the Republicans that have flipped?

Many of the uncertain people I've met or even just seen interviewed seem more like they're looking for an excuse, a fig-leaf that will let them do what they to do for, I suspect, less respectful reasons. Frankly, its one of the things that makes me take of the polls with a grain of salt.
