An NFL stadium wouldn't really work unless it's one with artifical turf and a roof.

This is the kind of stuff we need to ensure we win this thing. The more people vote the more likely we win.

Bravo NBA!

But don't understand why that's relevant to this discussion. Everyone needs transportation to get to any polling place wherever it is.

Don't let anyone tell you these players are privileged whiners complaining about nothing. They're putting their privilege to good use. I am SO proud of them!

I hope this idea gets more people to vote. I'd hate to have to drive 30 miles to the arena, pay for parking, walk blocks to the arena, and stand in a huge line. I'm glad my precinct voting spot is in a high school lobby 10 min away on foot. Why do we seem to be moving toward centralized huge voting complexes?

I don't see the convenience here. What am I missing?

Giving people other options is a great thing.

There are a some people who live near the stadium. Most of the nearby housing was razed for parking, when the arena was built. It gutted a big chunk of city.

These stadiums are mostly in the downtown regions of large urban areas, no doubt either in blue states or in the blue blobs of red states. This could prevent the strategies that governors like Brian Kemp use to cause delays and long lines in south Atlanta. This one thing could make a huge difference. Folks could sit, have access to bathrooms and water, and be assigned numbers to tell them when to join the line. Also, many employers are giving time off to vote, and mayors like Keisha could encourage that.
