But I want to say in some democratic countries in Europe that are just as free as us you can be subject to jail and/or fines for racism

Edit- but nothing says that a person can’t be fired or subject to ridicule for being racist....and that’s what we need to do in this country....

One that I don't care to go for a ride on.

Other forms of racism though are crimes and are subject to fines, penalties, etc.

May be a slippery meaning that the government shouldn’t get involved, but that doesn’t mean the public doesn’t have a voice in pressuring people to be fired and other methods
