and act as if they never sent it. Then I’d add to the sign. No drama and go on with my business.

I'm not condoning violence but this statement in a sign would get the point across..YMMV.

.

It really reveals the neighbors. A few cars would stop in front of the house, some neighbors would stand in front with either happy or angry looks on their faces.

to live in a neighborhood where neighbors would send a letter like that on account of someone's sign. My neighborhood is full of signs like that so such a letter writer would be awfully busy, and awfully unpopular.

it's likely one asshat who's too cowardly to state his opposition publicly.
Cowards hiding behind assault rifles.
Cowards hiding in big trucks running down protesters.
Cowards waiting til dark of night to crawl out of the woodwork to proudly display their ignorance, hatred and fear of The Other.

Same poison pen letter going out in multiple states. Blind sheep cowards....

Home is the safe and quite place we wanted to return to after being at work. We want rest, enjoy life and feel safe.

Tell that to Breonna Taylor, asleep in her own bed after returning from work. She was shot to death feeling safe in her own home and bed.

Came out while a friend of mines husband put a Biden sign in my yard and started yelling....traitor traitor trump 2020
My friends husband is a Purple Heart first and foremost.
The neighbor and his wife are retired military.
Anyway I read him the riot act the next time I saw him out and told his wife how childish he was.
Anyway a few days later the for sale sign went up and they are moving to Flordia.

C ya!!!!!!!!

In the meantime I have to look at a Giant Trump sign flying underneath his american flag right out front!!

Guess he showed me

I live in Lake Oswego myself, and the story doesn't surprise me. However, what is different from 2016 is that this year I have yet to see any Trump signs or banners anywhere in LO, not even at the expensive homes on the lake where someone kept their large Trump banner draped on the side of their house long after the 2016 election as a big Fuck You to any liberals that drove by. In my neighborhood, most of the Republicans I know seem to be of the bygone "nice" variety, though there are some fundies that will probably still vote for Trump. What is surprising this year is that at least one Republican woman I know a few houses down from me is now staunchly anti-Trump and has left the party. Additionally, there are more and more yard signs for Biden and Black Lives Matter popping up more in the surrounding neighborhoods, a lot more Biden signs this year than Hillary signs four years ago.

Also, FWIW, here's the original story about the anonymous letter:
