I'm sick.......went for our Sunday drive to get out of the house.......tRump signs

EVERYWHERE. 1 Biden sign, ONE, and it didn’t even have Harris on it. I should have counted, I swear it was damn near every other home, or farm 25 miles from our home. All signs were in front of people’s residences too, not like signs in vacant lots, they were in front of the homes and farms. I know it really means nothing, but damn it.........ONE BIDEN SIGN. We are getting ours tomorrow and there will be at least 5 Biden/Harris signs in our small town, with 3 tRump signs.

Sun Aug 30, 2020, 11:54 PM
Aug 2020

MN is a massively key state that is probably the least talked (along with NH) about true swing state (Rump lost both last time by narrow margins, 44,765 in MN, and only 2.736 votes in NH).

IF he can somehow flip MN, but lose NH, he still can win in a nightmarish 269-269 tie (the Rethugs will almost assuredly have the bare minimum (26) state delegations need in the House to put him over the top, due to extreme gerrymandering in the only 2 states we have decent chances to flip delegation control, WI and FL, plus there are 2 they can take back, MI and PA)

We can flip AZ, PA, and MI (47 combined elector votes, hold NH (we are looking ok there) and NV (little data out of there and they are a small and volatile state, but I think we take it somewhat easily) and still lose by the 269-269 tie as long as he holds FL (massive key to everything), OH, NC (great shot to flip Blue atm), GA (likely), TX (very likely), IA (highly likely if MN and WI go Red, but razor thin lead for Rump atm) MO (likely Rump wins it), KS, AR, AK, ME-2 (still trending Rump), NE-2 (our 2nd best shot to flip, probably even more than AZ and PA but after MI), and finally he holds WI (if he wins MN then odds are high WI stays Red, and I find it not so coincidental that MN and WI are where so much civil unrest is occurring). CO and VA are a lock for us (if we lost either or both, you are looking at a possible 400+ EV win for Rump), and IN is a lock for Rump.

the map all that above yields is (and IF it stays exactly the same BUT we flip NE-2, we win by 1 EV, and IF NE-2 is decided by a few hundreds votes, expect insanity as well)

A side note, we can win both MN and WI, but if we lose PA, it yields the same map, a 269-269 tie.

So my 11 key vector points (9 states, 2 districts) of uncertainty are MN, WI, IA, PA, MI, FL, ME-2, NE-2, OH, AZ, and NC.

There no other states that can aid Rump. If ANY of the others go Blue, it means a 99+% chance he loses, (given trends), those being AR, AK, TX, MO, GA, and KS.

That's why Trump collected all of those small electoral vote states, but when you add them to a few larger electoral states, they manufactured a win. Pennsylvania, Michigan and Florida have to go blue this year. Toss in a few smaller states and Biden/Harris can't lose.

78. Pennsylvania, Michigan and Florida would do it alone
Mon Aug 31, 2020, 12:22 AM

Trump could run the board and win EVERY other state where he is above 40% on average atm and still lose. His only shot would be to flip either CO or VA, and that is 99% not happening, as he is getting crushed in both. Hell, he could even steal CO (but not VA) and still lose IF we win NE-2 and ME-2 (it would have to be both.)

Here is the map if he somehow steals CO as well, but we win ME-2 (the harder of the 2) and NE-2 (and that is IF he wins out in ALL the rest of the remotely close states) Biden is up by 11 (May 11th) and 7 points (July 12th) in the last two NE-2 polls. ME-2 is basically a dead heat based off what little data we have.

I don’t know if this is the problem where you live, but there was a Washington Post report a couple of days ago that said that, all around rural Pennsylvania, Biden-Harris signs are being stolen. Pick-up trucks have apparently been coming through and taking Biden signs from entire streets, in some cases. Democrats around Pennsylvania say it’s a bigger problem than it has been in past elections. Democrats have been putting up Facebook pages recommending what kinds of goop and glitter and Ghost pepper powder to put on the signs to keep people from putting their hands on them.

because they don’t see a lot of government services (i.e. road construction, libraries, police), even though they might get farm subsidies or Social Security.

It will seem to go on and on for miles. Just remember, one household is maybe two votes. Compared to cities, which tend to go blue at much higher rates.

Now we just need to make sure cities aren’t screwed with mail-in voting by a crippled Post Office.

I'm not going to put a sticker on the car (don't want it keyed) or in front of our house (it will get stolen). And we live in the Bay Area.

The last sticker I had on my car was "Clinton/Gore 1996" (I volunteered on the campaign that year and the previous one). My car was parked in my office garage, and one evening a couple of months before the general election, I found someone had peeled the sticker off, stepped on it and crumpled and it put it back on my car.

I would NEVER think about doing this to anyone's car or home, but frankly, Republicans have no care for "law and order". They lie, cheat, steal etc. Biden/Harris should wipe Fat Boy and Momma's Boy up with their "law and order" hypocrisy, which is of the highest order.

They are obsessed with this fool, and that's why "pundits" like Michael Moore claim that Trump's supporters are totally off the charts in enthusiasm. That may be true, but there are fewer of those than in 2016 and FAR FEWER independents who would vote for
Trump.

They will do anything to project strength, and yard signs and flags are an example of that.

Remember, Trump is the incumbent, not the challenger, so he has to answer for this mess. He is gaslighting, interfering in votes, and hiding foreign interference. He, however, is the INCUMBENT. Nothing will change that.

That's why this protests nonsense is backfiring. Defaulting Donny Trump is the President while all this is happening, not the challenger.

RUSSIA, IF YOU'RE LISTENING, YOU MESSED UP ROYALLY BY PICKING THIS IDIOT AS YOUR PUPPET. And, no, I won't accept any cups of tea from anyone or hang out by open windows any time soon. 54. I don't really see Biden signs...

Trump signs scream at me, and I'm so curious about who lives there, or who owns the property. I want to stop, knock on the door, and ask WTF is wrong with them. Black Lives Matter, and Biden signs I love to see, but they don't stick out. Where we live the Biden signs far outnumber the Trump, but I think it's because people are embarrassed, and don't want any blow-back....like some whacky dame knocking on their door asking them WTF is wrong with them.

70. Not all of us display yard signs and bumper stickers.

I was out on my mile walk about an hour ago.

There's a house that I walk past that has a Biden flag and a "Build bridges, not walls" yard sign. As I was approaching this home, a man was out in the yard doing something but it was becoming dark so I couldn't really tell what was going on. I noticed he displayed another Biden banner that was almost the length of the house and super skinny.

I wanted to tell him that I liked his banners, but he went inside before I got the chance.

I volunteered/worked quite a few campaigns, local and national. I got suckered into it because I called and asked for a yard sign.
Bush 2nd term. Democrats were not spending money where I live. It's a lock. Very rare to ever see a Democrats signage during a national campaign in my county.
Maybe they are spending the money cause it's not a "lock"??

Answer back to Fox News
For about a month now, I have been writing comments about the various news stories on the Fox News website. Sometimes I will have up to 8 different fox news stories open on my screen and reply to each with different counterpoints, often a number of them on the same story over the course of an hour or two. It’s actually rather fun and satisfying….being able to get your say in with these people.

This way, I can post dozens of attention getting posts that the fox followers will read, often with ‘interesting’ feedback from them, as you can well imagine. Surprisingly, there are a substantial number of us Democratic types that post on there, or that rate the comments. (I’ve had up to 12 likes for a post). In actuality though, the foxers outnumber the ‘normals’ by 8 to 1? Or more? Our correct side needs more troops over there to help educate them about the truth.

Over time, I’ve had to change my delete my account and change usernames when Fox catches on, or someone complains. I think this has happened when I post too much too quickly, perhaps and also when I get down on Fox directly, so be a little circumspect. At a certain point, Fox will keep showing you your posts, but no one else will see them. You will know this when no one reacts to them, or you can do as I do, and go to your incognito page and see if your posts show up or not on fox there.. It’s a pretty easy get around though, just delete your account, keep the same url, and create a new account with a new user name.

Please try and keep things civil. Witty if possible, and try to avoid insults. We’re here to convince Fox people who are often woefully ignorant of the truth. Educate them.

I don’t believe you’re supposed to cut and paste, but I do successfullyIt’s actually kind of fun, (addicting?) to post, and I think it may actually do a lot of good, as a lot of fox readers aren’t necessarily commited Trump cultists and may be on the fence.
Below is an example of what I post.

Trump’s deep thoughts:
1- “why don’t we just drop a nuke in the eye of a hurricane to stop it?”
2- the Revolutionary Army took over the airport’s in the 1700’s
3- “the new clean coal mine is going to take out the coal and actually clean it so it’ll be clean coal.”
4- “the F-35’s are invisible. They can’t fight against them. The enemy can be right next to one and they can’t fight because they’re stealth....it’s literally invisible.”
5- “Puerto Rico is surrounded by water, big water, ocean water.”
6- “water is wet....from the standpoint of water.”
7- “they say the noise from those big windmills causes cancer.”
8- “disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. Is there a way we can do that....by injection, almost a cleaning. It sounds interesting to me.”
9- “Isn’t Finland a part of Russia?”
10- “the map came to me with that sharpie drawing on it.”
11. “Andrew Jackson should have stopped the Civil War. (He died 16 years prior)
12. Trump said he had never heard of a Category 5 Hurricane even though he had already experienced three in his presidency.
13. “When I was hearing the amount of people that died with the flu, I was shocked to hear it… I would have said, ‘Does anybody die of the flu?’ I didn’t know people died from the flu.”
Fact check: Trump’s grandfather died of the flu.
14. "We have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China, and we have it under control. It’s going to be just fine.”
Trumps mean girl name calling is surely getting old.
