No matter how you vote...

take a picture (preferably time-stamped) of your signed ballot before it leaves your hands. Spread the word. There is no better protection against ballot tampering than this going viral.

Considering what's at stake, it is worth taking a chance in the "somewhere in between" states. Can't advocate breaking the law, but cutting a label off a mattress is also against the law.

That's what you do. It's not to appeal to authorities to seek justice, it's to make a statement. Just the possibility of this happening may make the prospective ballot tamperers think twice.

last presidential election. Partly to prove how I voted to family who were suspicious of me. *I rarely tell anyone who I vote for and for anyone to suspect I might have voted for Trump is just so odd*

I just saw that it is illegal in my state. I still have the picture, lol. In my little bitty place in this world I doubt anyone would care one way or the other.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
