They are beautiful, soft shirts that are union made in the USA and cost about $30.
It is counted as a donation, but I was wondering if anyone knew how much of that goes to the campaign after covering the cost of a shirt.

You might get closer to a buck if you order a fuck ton of shirts.
Buyer beware, there's plenty of fake "union printers" out there using bootleg union bugs.

(4,563 posts)I have buttons made from purebuttons. They're made in the USA and, if you buy large enough quantities, can get dirt cheap. If you buy 1,000 buttons, they're less than 20 cents. (BTW, these are nice, high-quality metal buttons. I use them for LGBTQ events, and people love them.)
As for t-shirts... I've never bought a large enough quantity of t-shirts to get down to $1 a shirt. BUT a one-sided, made in the USA, color printed shirt from customink is as cheap as $3.97 if you order just 5,000. I imagine the Biden campaign orders at least 10,000 (if not more) during the duration of their campaign. So, $1 a shirt isn't impossible.
Plus, as a political campaign, they probably get additional discounts and considerations.

(18,402 posts)My husband is still waiting to receive the Proenza Schouler leather bracelet he ordered for me from the Obama campaign in 2012 (or was it 2008?). Cant remember what he paid, but we just decided it was an outright donation after a while.
I did get the Alexander Wang hoodie with Let Me Be Clear written down the zipper side that I donated $80 for back in 2008. Still wear it. Nobody ever gets it or even asks about it. Too subtle, I guess.
