I just saw Biden's speech. I out it on pause, brewed a cuppa, and listened to him, feeling a calm that I haven't felt since pre election season 2016...maybe....2015?

I am not used to feeling this way.

Plus it yet again dispelled all the talk of Biden's coherence, as did his convention speech and his performance in the Sanders debate.

Can't wait for the trump debate and what it will show about trump's deficiencies.

He is a return to complete normalcy. Unless you are a racist, an evangelical who believes Trump is the portent of the Second Coming of Jesus, or Vladimir Putin, you want to get rid of this fool Trump.

I have been feeling more at peace after Joe Biden picked Kamala Harris. I think they are the perfect antidote for the horrors of the last four year, and a vaccine against even more horrific additional years.

Every morning I think about how wonderful it will be when I can turn on the news and not have to be hyper vigilant about hitting the remote if the ugly face shows up. I also want to be able to not hear anything about his stupid tweets or what he has said. If the media keeps reporting on him after he's gone, I'll be livid and I will contact the ones who do that and tell them to stop and hope we all do the same.
