I think what Biden needs is a rapid response team to follow this type of garbage dump and respond back in realtime. Be it Biden himself or his surrogates, these accusations and smears need to be answered quickly, clearly to draw the contrast between the two men. Underscore the difference, again and again and again. As much as I admired Hillary Clinton, she and her team ignored a lot of Trump's craziness. Because it was crazy trash talk.

This time out? I'd play it different and bat the garbage right back into Trump's filthy court.

Mob? you say. I wonder why Donald Trump would insert the Mafia into his conversation? Does he think those exercising their constitutional right to protest is akin to the Mafia? Does that apply to BLM supporters or anyone who questions the status quo and/or opposes Trump's failing Administration? Or is it that the word 'mob' automatically triggers the word Mafia? Biden's team needn't call Trump insulting names, just setup an immediate interrogatory on Trump's verbal spew, oral and tweet rants. Dissect the charges and then throw them back. If the team can use humor, all the better. For instance, I thought Biden's question about whether voters buy into the charge that he's a wild-eyed socialist was an effective approach.

"Really?" Biden quipped. He smiled but the knife he carried was razor sharp.
