I am so old I vividly remember the prior "law and order" Republican criminal, Richard Nixon.

I also recall that when he publicly said that Charlie Manson was "guilty", the entire sentient segment of the American public was aghast and outraged at how stupid, inappropriate and prejudicial that remark was. Presidents were then and are now SUPPOSED to scrupulously avoid any comment that might influence a proceeding in a court of law.

I just listened to Trump explain that his 17 year old fanboy who used an AR-15 to shoot and kill two unarmed protesters had was just defending himself and "probably would have been killed" if he had not done so.

I offer no further comment as my vocabulary lacks adjectives that would be the verbal equivalent of smacking Trump upside the head.
