Buttigieg: Cher gives Biden backers a reason to 'believe in life after Trump

And President Donald Trump, she told a gathering of Biden supporters Monday, is “really an idiot.”
“Joe is smart enough, he’s kind enough, he’s strong enough,” Cher said, before repeating the phrase Trump used to show his skills on a cognitive test. “I also know that the `person, woman, man, camera, TV,' in the White House is an idiot. I mean it. No, the guy is really an idiot."
The singer and actress was the special guest for an LGBTQ-themed virtual fundraiser for the Biden campaign that raised nearly $2 million.
