Black Lives Matter.

When people say "Black Lives Matter" they are endorsing a sentiment that we too often discount Black lives. They aren't endorsing Black Live Matter's entire agenda. I have read their statement, i.e. agenda, there are parts I agree with and parts I disagree with though I wholeheartedly endorse the sentiment Black folks often get the short end of the stick when it comes to housing choices, employment, health outcomes, policing et cetera. Pretty much everything.

Don't let the Reiche wing conflate the two.

is quite diverse, especially my street.

Anyway, the right wingers came up with an idea for everyone to change their outside light bulbs to blue for a week to show support for the police.

I said I would do it, if we also showed support for BLM, etc., by having a black light week. The rubes didn't like that.

I probably support the police more than a lot of DUers. But I'm not going to show support with Blue lights if it slights my neighbors. And that's what I think their blue light idea is meant to do, slight other ethnicities. Screw em.
