MSNBC continuing to broadcast this POS should open them up to

accessory to incite violence charges.

Just because it comes from the president, it doesn't excuse them from liability for inciting violence.

I, too, am sick and tired to the Trump-a-thon interviews broadcast by MSNBC.

It just happens to be terrible news. But they aren't liable for presenting it, such as it is. And we need to know exactly how awful this so-called president is. We always have the option of not watching.

If we refuse to watch, the networks will eventually stop giving him airtime.

to cover the president of the United States. No matter how repulsive he is. That's what journalism is.

Just turn it off when he comes on: that's what I do. Frankly, I do not watch the cable "news" at all, unless it's an election, debate, or major disaster (such as a hurricane). And even then, I don't watch the commentary: just the facts, ma'am.

I turn on the PBS NewsHour each evening, which is stomach-able, and not full of chitter-chatter. I don't watch the local news either; there's an extremely fine public-affairs show that covers all the important local and state news (plus arts and culture and other topics of interest) each night at 7 pm. We watch it during dinner. Then I read the papers in the morning.

I don't understand how people can watch cable news all day. I used to, but it's been more than a decade since I found it to be a mere addiction, and not really useful for much of anything. Besides, it's not really news, only political news and endless speculation.
