I'm so sorry she was more or less forced out of office (there were plenty of people here rooting for her to go, IIRC), but she is slamming it as a pundit.

Just because this kind of thing has been normalized coming from Donald Trump, it's not okay and could never be okay that it's been normalized coming from the president of the United States.

6. And, I give her props for the commuter insight.

Before the pandemic, I rode the bus A LOT, and believe me, as a woman riding the bus, you are always on the watch. Men can be AWFUL, and they probably go home and laugh about intimidating women on the bus, while we go around traumatized for weeks.

16. Claire was my senator!

As much as I loved her as senator, I'm loving her more as a contributor on MSNBC. It must be very liberating for her to be able to say exactly what she is thinking. She makes me laugh a lot. It also must be satisfying to see her successor, Josh Hawley, fade into the background. Hell, I actually had to think hard to even remember his name.

9. And she gets more nationwide exposure this way than when she was a Senator.

Now, she comes on to comment on ANYTHING that's being discussed, not simply some move in the Senate that she initiated or was part of.

And it will also develop her as a TV talking head and a familiar personality with credibility - with whom the viewer soon becomes familiar and comfortable. Positions her as a go-to pundit/analyst/expert. Adds a high-visibility credential and extends her resume. We need as many of those as we can get.

11. The media has been trained to treat every utterance of a president as a presidential utterance

They needed to unlearn that after a week of Trump, but they didn't, and won't, because blah blah blah liberal media.

The press has continued to imbue Trump with credibility he doesn't deserve. The same press that will be at Joe's throat next year at this time. Because blah blah blah liberal media.

Had an uncle like him once. He believed every conspiracy theory on the internet. These individuals are very needy and will take all the time, and sanity, you have if not careful.
