I took a break by one of dams and locks completed in 1965 a series of dozens of dams were all built in that era, huge project. During the same period we built the interstate hyways. That was a half century ago. Has there been any other infrastructure projects even close to that magnatude built since? I can't think of anything? We even built our space program in that period.

Homeland Security closed it several years ago. Everything is enclosed in chain link fence and barbed wire. On the Ohio side there is a fishing pier.
