Florida couple arrested after shooting at 2 Black men and a kid dropping off U-Haul van

The arresting officer said the couple did not obey his commands at first but eventually put their guns down and laid down in the parking lot.

The Fountains were given pre-trial release without bond but ordered to surrender all their firearms until the case is resolved.

“If we’re the ones shooting at them, we would still be in jail right now, probably with no bond, probably with intent to kill,” Clemons said. “But they got to walk free.”

Correction. If the black family had been the ones shooting and failed to follow the responding officer's commands, bail wouldn't be an issue because they'd probably all be dead.

Don’t they know bullets actually GO places? They should never be near a firearm again.

"The Fountains told police they fired into the air after hearing the sounds of someone siphoning gasoline."

Two things. What does siphoning gas sound like? Some choking, coughing maybe some vomiting?

And the victims weren't doing any of that, so exactly what were they hearing and then shooting at? Shooting guns at perceived sounds?

Up the charges to attempted murder and throw the book at them.
