Watch Iowa

They are the epicenter of US Coronavirus right now and are also the site of some major political contests this year.

There is a competitive Senate race and of course Iowa is a state that is looking competitive in the Presidential race this year. Democrats had a great run in the 2018 House elections there, so there is some momentum. Let's see how Trump and the Trump-lite governors failure to address coronavirus in the state shapes out for them.

back in 2012. It was wild. Came on with almost no warning.

It was a Friday night, I remember because we were setting up for a cookout. The sky got funny and I could tell something was about to happen. Grabbed the table and carried it inside just about the time it started.

It was weird. I went out on my porch and watched it. It tore up all kinds of things. I could hear it, but it never actually got really bad at my house. A block in either direction got bad, but it was just a regular strong storm for me. Afterwords I started hearing about what it had done and seeing pictures. We out and drove around a little and saw some of the damages locally.
