I saw it a couple of times. Some NBC reporter was asking Blake Sr. what he would say to President Trump if they had met. Blake Sr. flatly said, "It's too late." He knew what Trump is all about, knows that a Black man talking frankly with Trump will get no traction at all, and that it's better for all concerned that Trump keep his distance from these grieving people.

But the Blake family will meet with Joe Biden.
