In days after Nov. 3, we must be ready for psychological warfare
In the days after November 3, 2020, we must be ready for psychological warfare with the Trump camp. Remember that in 2000, George W. Bushs cousin, John Ellis, called the state of Florida, and by extension the presidential election, for Bush, while working at Fox News (see link below). Though Florida was NOT clearly Bushs that night, once that network call has been made, by a Bush cousin!, it was harder for Al Gore to challenge. Bush had the psychological edge with the country. If this election is close, the Trump camp will be all psychological warfare, all the time. We must be ready this time. From WaPo in 2000:
Ellis's projection was crucial because Fox News Channel put Florida in the W. column at 2:16 a.m.--followed by NBC, CBS, CNN and ABC within four minutes. That decision, which turned out to be wrong and was retracted by the embarrassed networks less than two hours later, created the impression that Bush had "won" the White House.
