Donald's Trump America - Don Lemon's segment on eviction

Horrifying. He just did a segment showing people as they were getting evicted in Texas. Young family with 2 little kids, also an elderly woman - hot summer day in Texas. Even the guy hired to put the elderly woman's stuff out was crying. Geez.
The dad said he lost his job and it took him a while to get another one, he said his check is only $300. He kept saying it was his fault, he let the rent get backed up. But how the hell do you take care of a family of 4 with $300?. The police officer carrying out the eviction order ,said this week they got twice the number of eviction orders they usually get.

This so called president only wants to talk about law and order and the stock market, that he thinks will help him win while people are truly suffering.
I'm haunted by that young family walking away with what they could fit in that baby's stroller. This is Trump's America.

A short while after I lost my home.

The stress made me go psychotic.twice.

Even though I have been living here a few years I still save up boxes wondering what if.. it traumatized me.

I can't imagine the stress and dispair of the people being evicted because of trump..those families, this shit is criminal and it's Moscow Mitch's fault.

their homes, old, young, kids, babies. That poor dad, I could hear his voice cracking as he was saying it was his fault, he lost his job after Coronavirus and it took a long time to find another one. Just devastating.

And yes, you are right Moscow Mitch is also to blame. How these people live with themselves is beyond me.

Meanwhile we can come up with money for big companies while families, elderly and babies are put out on the street in the sweltering heat

If would have been so easy for Trump to be the hero and sail easy to re-election. He could have grabbed this by the horns, made sure the states had what they need, worked with governors and local officials. Comfort the nation, Push for financial protection for people like the ones being evicted today and small businesses. Any neophyte politician would have taken advantage of this situation and make him or herself look like a hero. But not him. He's too used to lying, cheating, stealing and bullying to even think that he could have done the right thing here and that it would have worked out in his favor.
