(25,853 posts)not in my state. I mean, really? Why should I care about a Senate race not in my state? What am I missing here?
Yes, I know that the Senate being controlled by Democrats or Republicans matters, but I cannot affect a Senate race in another state. Well, okay, I could give money to one of those races, but other than that, I can't have an influence. Unless, perhaps, I'm a very wealthy person who can give huge sums of money . . . but that's not very likely, is it?

(54,370 posts)OK, give them a nationally televised debate--among themselves.
They can compete for which among them has been the worst for America, and the winner has to default to their Democratic challenger immediately. The other two can wait until election night to concede.
Moderators will be Al Franken and Rachel Maddow. Fact checkers will be on hand for real time checking, and will sound uncomfortably loud buzzers for every pants-on-fire wrong claim or statement.
I'm sure that will sound fair to all three of them, don't you?
