Update on Melania and Me.

I’m now halfway through this book. It is hard to put down because each page leaves you wondering what fiasco you will be reading about next.

However, the real point of my post is that this book could have had another title:

“Ivanka is a Manipulative B****h”

Mary Trump and her aunt are right, Ivanka is all about Ivanka. A mini-Donald.

They all are. Even Tiffany recently jumped on the gaslighting band wagon. I wish the youngest son the very best, I really do. But given the family dynamics and the selfish, lying, racists POS his family and siblings are, I don't hold out much hope for him. Any money he inherits will come from the deaths of many people all over the world. It will be from the scams trumps took part in, trading personal favors for him with other governments that allowed them to commit genocide and murders. that allowed for children to be kidnapped from their parents.

they will definitely be stabbing one another in the back behind the scenes, even if they don't trash each other in print. Eric's wife is extremely ambitious and manipulative, so she will try to carve out something in her own perceived best interest as well. 6. I bought Mary's book for my son-in-law's birthday, then worried that maybe he wouldn't like it.

He finished it yesterday and loved it. I won't repeat what he called The Donald, but it certainly expressed both our views.

I should be getting a call on Michael Cohen's book next.

In Mary Trump's book, Ivana also came across as self-centered and manipulative. She rather sounded like a spoiled mafia wife.

Ivana was the only one of her uncle's wives who she dissed. Marla was friendly. Melania was basically mute.

The best thing about Mary Trump's book was that she delved into the whys and hows Donald became what he is.

It's a very well written treatise on Trump family dynamics. I give it 5 stars.

and I got a better overview of the different Trumps. Ivana immediately jumped off the page as the type of person I've known - cheap, garish, tacky, and self-absorbed. Clearly someone with more humble roots, who exemplified nouveau riche.

but as cheap and void of any form of generosity. Ivana would swoop into “the house”, looking her nose down on everyone and bring cheap and recycled gifts. She once for Christmas gave Mary, who was a teenager at the time, a corporate gift basket with the caviar missing.

Mary’s talks about how the rich are notorious grifters. Melania is also a grifter. Take. take. And take some more.

I couldn't believe the tacky re-gifting, especially considering that Ivanka could afford to give decent presents. The gift basket minus the caviar was so low and being it was obvious as well as cheap, it was like she was sending a message - "This is all you're worth to us".

Over time, we've given some of the Trumps the benefit of the doubt, but eventually they all turn out to be the same rotten, self-centered jerks. So far, Barron is the only one left that there is any hope for, but I fear that this nasty family will ruin him as well. What a rotten world for a kid to be raised in.

But then, she IS a gold-digger, who chose to marry him for what she thought was money, power, and position. She could chose to walk away from it all, yet remains. So I no longer feel sorry for her.

I predict that post-Trump, either Biden's AG, or the new Dem congress & senate will appoint a special prosecutor to conduct an independent criminal investigation into Trump's crimes and his grifter sycophants' crimes. No one is above the law, and they will get Trump's tax returns. He will be charged with obstruction of justice, running a criminal enterprise, money laundering, tax and mail fraud, bribery, and god knows what else.

I look forward to the day when he gets his first 3 minute prison haircut with electric clippers. Buzz buzz buzz. Goodbye comb-over pompedor. Hello 23 hours a day in a solitary gray walled cell with nothing to do, and no one to cheer and flatter.

20. I haven't, nor will I, read one word of a book about this trashy family. It will defile my beautiful

What I do read, and this scares me, are scenarios laid out in the NYT Opinion section on Sunday, of ways Trump can (or at least can TRY) to subvert the election and declare himself the winner, even if he loses.

This is not fantasy stuff. Yes, it is theorizing but as a "wise fear." However, I feel like the bejesus has been scared out of me.

although I'm sure the plastic fantastic daughter/wife is better at it than her other siblings. She learned at an early age that just by grinding on Daddy's lap she could get anything she wanted. Eric tried the same thing, but all he got were extra-large gums.

Fred Sr.'s MO was to pit his two eldest sons against each other for his favor. Shitstain won that contest by making himself into a little mini-sociopath in the model of his father, so of course he pits his kids against each other in a similar contest. But, plot twist! he lets the girl compete too; why have 2 kids compete for your attention when you can have all 3! And Ivanka figured out that she can use his lust for his gender-swapped mini-me as an advantage in the sibling-rivalry games.

Even if Ivanka were the poor put-upon daughter with an embarrassing father who likes to sneak into Miss Teen USA changing rooms (and whose school friends' mothers would have done well to forbid them to attend her sleepovers if her father was home), her relationship with the gold-digging step mother(s) would not likely be warm. Throw in her use of her father's lust for her as a tool for her own gain and you get what we saw on stage at the RNC.

The whole nest of vipers seemingly deserve each other.

I understand the caterer was a friend of Melania, but Ivanka inserted herself into it and corrupted the whole thing.

I believe it's safe to assume Ivanka would have no problems throwing Malania under the train when the judgment day comes.

30. Hope Hicks originally worked for Ivanka, and then Ivanka recommended her

to her dad. I have always suspected that she knew Hope was his "type" and placed her in his inner circle to try to drive a wedge between him and Melania.
