Well lookee who showed up on Tucker's show - the salon OWNER (Nancy) crying foul

So the woman who OWNS the salon says it’s not fair that Nancy just showed up. Who unlocked the door? Who called staff in?

California Salon Owner Responds to Pelosi on Fox: Her Comments Were ‘Hurtful’

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/california-salon-owner-responds-to-pelosi-on-fox-her-comments-were-hurtful/

The owner of a California salon Nancy Pelosi went to this week spoke out to Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Wednesday night.

Fox broke the news of Pelosi’s visit to the salon Monday, and owner Erica Kious said, “It was a slap in the face that she went in, you know, that she feels that she can just go and get her stuff done while no one else can go in, and I can’t work.” <——- uh. WHAT?

Kious told Carlson it wasn’t a set-up, saying, “I’ve had a camera system in there for five years. I mean, I didn’t go in there and turn cameras on as soon as she walked in and set her up. So that is absolutely false.” <——— the cameras aren’t the point. YOU OPENED it for her. Anyone else?

Carlson asked, “How do you feel about seeing the most powerful woman in America come into your salon in violation of the rules she supports, get caught and then blame you for it?”

“To be honest, it was more hurtful,” Kious said. “She’s been coming in for quite a while, and just to see her coming and especially not wearing a mask — that’s really got to me — but this isn’t even political. She’s been coming in there. It’s the fact that she actually came in didn’t have a mask on, and I just thought about my staff and people not being able to work and make money and provide for their families, and if she’s in there comfortably without a mask and feeling safe, then why are we shut down? Why am I not able to have clients come in? So it’s been hard.” ——- so you we’re closed but at least Nancy was still coming in but your people can’t work. WHAAAAT?

Oh that’s right. It doesn’t have to make sense.

Why is anyone paying any attention to this bullshit at all? Trump is killing people and Barr is subverting the DoJ and people are talking about Pelosi's fucking hairdresser?

There will be a story or two every day from now until election day about some Democrat somewhere perpetrating some heinous act. One or two of them might even be true; there are some bad apples in the Democratic big tent.

But when you see a story like this one, give it the smell test. Is a high profile Democrat involved? Hard to get a Democrat in a higher office than Nancy Pelosi. Is Pelosi the sort of person, given what you know of her public persona going back decades, who would recklessly and publicly break the rules? No? Your skeptical meter should be pinging. Is someone else involved that you've never heard of before, but who turns out to be a Republican partisan of long-standing? Does the grievously wronged person go to a responsible authority for redress, or does she go on the Tucker Carlson show?

Oh, and when the "scandal" blows up like a cheap novelty cigar, be sure to throw it back in the faces of your conservawhacko asshole friends and relatives proportionate to their initial gloating. If you don't catch 'em in the act, they'll never learn.

At that level of clientele they don’t have to follow the rules. It could be in their own homes or, as is easily to expect, these salons were opening. I’m sure a lot of barbers probably were. I know someone who got a haircut in a trailer a guy redid to give on site haircuts.

Are they W-2 employees with benefits and payroll deductions from her company?
Or are they 1099 employees where she takes a cut of the salary and they still have to pay all the payroll taxes themselves with no benefits?

If they're 1099, then she's a hypocrite first class.
