What to expect for the next phase - after the election of Biden in November...

Last edited Thu Sep 3, 2020, 04:11 PM - Edit history (1)

It's hard to predict such events, here's my first stab at it...

It will make the Bush/Gore recount period look like a minor clerical error.

Then will come the pardons for cash.

The riots by the Incel Infantry and Proud Bois will burn the cities.

Then the Orange BLOTUS and entourage will take flight to Moscow.

Then the investigations and trials will begin.

Oh, and the rushed vaccinations will begin to manifest the side effects.

And Covid infections will pass the 10 million mark.

Then come the Covid mutations...

so let's watch carefully, and be prepared for contingencies without setting out red herrings?

I would add that Stupid AF1 will be so crammed with thugs trying to escape to Russia that it will look like the 1975 evacuation of Saigon.

Do you think Putin will let Trump & Co. escape to Russia? Why would he do that? If Trump's out of office, he's useless to Putin. Why would he tie himself to the biggest loser?

It's more likely that Putin would renounce Trump, deny everything linking him to Trump and try to re-enter the civilized countries of Europe and Asia. He would want to continue to try to manipulate world affairs to Russia's benefit. Catering to Trump would be a huge obstacle to being accepted by the rest of the western world.

Putin's primary objective has always been to create wealth for himself and his cronies and try to make Russia relevant in the world's economy. Allowing Trump to escape to Russia would hinder those goals.

As for his administration, lots of people will be looking to hide away beneath the rocks from under which they crawled.

trump* fleeing wouldn't surprise me, in the least, but him being 'turned away' from his destination is also a possibility.

I will not receive one of his rushed vaccinations.

I hope that all we really need to concentrate on is, because there will be a Democratic majority in the House AND the Senate, things will finally get done.

But I’m not going to dwell on every awful scenario possible.

My life remains fine.
