The U.S. has not declared war on Russia, which I think is a necessary element of treason. So, treasonous? Treason-lite? Reprehensible for sure.

so to bring a capital charge we had better cross all our t's.

In my heart I know it's treason. In discussions with wingers, where I am asked to back up all claims, I have to hold back a little so as not to get “corrected”.

Reprehensible, disgusting, corrupt, outrageous are all apt, but words fail. The system fails.
