Has anyone heard why the cops had guns drawn on Jacob Blake?

I've seen the video and heard he was trying to break up a domestic fight but I haven't heard any specifics of what happened just before the video.
it seems strange to me that neither the police or the people involved have offered any statements as to what incidents led up to Blake walking away while cops had drawn guns on him.

1. I'd like the full story too as all I've heard is was trying to break up a fight between two women.

The cops are keeping quiet. If they had something negative on him they'd have already blasted it from the treetops.

The claims have been blasted repeatedly from treetops and from planes flying high over the trees.

I'd list them, but once I reported what others said (and which the judge later admitted as evidence and the jury believed) and it was "right-wing talking points."

8. Are you talking about the Jacobs shooting? The cops were just there 3 minutes before the shooting.

Do you have any details about why the cops drew their guns and what they did and Jacobs did?

someone shouted "drop the knife" so apparently at least one of the officers was under the impression Blake had a knife

Raysean White, a 22-year-old who filmed the video, told NBC that he heard women arguing across the street from his apartment. Then, the man later identified as Blake arrived in a truck. White later saw police “wrestling” with Blake, and then started to record after he saw an officer tase Blake.

White also heard police yelling “drop the knife,” according to NBC. But he added, “I didn’t see any weapons in his hands, he wasn’t being violent.”

Just because he said it, doesn’t make it so.

9. The video sure doesn't show a knife in his hand as he walked to the car.

Cops are known to yell, "Stop resisting" or "Drop the weapon" to justify their brutality. We seen that before, with two of three cops on top of someone on the ground as they brutalize the person.

I don't put much faith in what a an attempted murderer cop says.

... check at police dispatch and notified the responding officers. At that point they go real gungho about barking out orders. If you do not respond precisely to their orders they rapidly escalate the situation.

If you are Black the escalation is off the charts ten fold than if white. Because he did not immediately put his hands behind his back to allow them to handcuff and arrest they went ballistic.

You do what you are told when the police tell you. Or they take their revolver and empty all the bullets into your body - especially if you are Black.
