So, you want a military parade to perform for you but no amputees. Nobody wants to see that, you said. Here is a news flash for you. Some of these veteran amputee heroes are more athletic and in better shape than you and your doughy, out-of-shape self will ever be. They run marathons, excel in track, ride bikes powered by their powerful arms and remain fit and active without the benefit of all their limbs. They can outperform you any day of the week and I'd bet that some of them could outrun your lard ass sitting in your souped up golf cart. They take what life handed them and become better for it.
You, on the other hand, would whine everyday about how unfair life is to you. You would park your ass and shove comforting food down your throat to soothe your self-pity. You are a self-centered coward and you live in fear every day of your miserable life.
