and looked down on his service. Poor Freddy. He deserved a better family.

It is so great that despite all the turmoil his children loved him.

Part of me feels bad for him. He can’t help what mental disability he was born with and the father he was born to.

On the other hand.... I don’t really care. Do you?

in some capacity however minor, it is a damned shame he died so soon. Not that he was good, per se, just the least bad of a very bad lot.

Her father, Freddy, was a decent, educated and good man who couldn’t cope with his father’s demands. He was a pilot and very popular with his friends. But his father humiliated him constantly for not being just as mean as he was. Donald saw that and became what he is today.

How could anyone with a soul be in that toxic family and not drink themselves to death?

Very sad. It seems like he was the only decent human being in that family and it killed him. I am glad that his daughter is telling the truth about the family who destroyed him.
