VA-05: Good declines offer for Fifth District debate
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Republican candidate Bob Good has declined an offer to debate Democratic candidate Dr. Cameron Webb at Piedmont Virginia Community College.
The two are running against each other for Virginia's Fifth Congressional District seat, currently held by Representative Denver Riggleman, R-Nelson.
CBS19 News invited both candidates to a debate. The Webb campaign accepted and the Good campaign declined.
Webb's team sent out a press release about Good's decision to decline the offer to debate. The release is not affiliated with CBS19 or Piedmont Virginia Community College.
