I've had "presidential aneurysm" on my wish list since January 2017. And "president-elect aneurysm" on my wish list since November 2016. I honestly think he may be the first person in my life I have ever actively wished dead. I'm not exaggerating. I didn't even wish that on my rapist if that tells you anything.

Ships have masts--on land, we have staffs/staves.) There won't be any grief, fake or otherwise, or respect from this corner. But there WILL be an intense urge to urinate when I visit his grave.

We don't need any last minute changes with someone who may be sane and appear to be reasonable. We don't need any pity party for the Republicans. I believe that Trump's life is rather hellish, I wan't him out of power and suffering from defeat on top of his many other woes. I would like to see him have a long life, in a Federal prison.

35. Not entirely historically accurate but even so a wonderful movie.
Fri Sep 4, 2020, 10:25 AM
Sep 2020

The movie compresses events that took place over a period of months into a single week, and places Molotov in Moscow the day Stalin died when he was already in exile. There are some other inaccuracies as well, but it's one of my all time favorite dark comedies.

Two of the stories as portrayed are actually LESS bizarre than the reality.

SPOILER ALERT: if you haven't seen the movie stop reading now.

The opening scene involving Moscow radio frantically recording the Mozart piano concerto was based on an actual incident. But, in real life, they had to go through three alternate conductors, since the first two they went to that night were too drunk to be able to conduct!

And Beria was even worse than as portrayed--horrible as he is in the film. There is now evidence that not only did he do all the things in the film--having millions of people imprisoned or shot, and routinely raping family of those imprisoned--but it now appears he was also a serial killer, personally cruising Moscow, picking up women and then raping and personally killing them. Decades after his death a number of skeletons were discovered buried in the basement when the mansion he lived in was renovated.

But all in all this is an incredible movie, with wonderful performances by the entire cast. I'll probably watch it again this weekend, just because of this post.

So thanks!

Mostly I can't write about my fantasies without the Secret Service coming to pay me a visit. Suffice it to say that there is a big cauldron of molten lead with his name on it that awaits him in Hell. The Hell demons are holding debates over which regiment of them get first dibs at delivering his just rewards to him.

Let's just say that the Renaissance painter, Hieronymus Bosch, had the right idea.

In my book, true justice would mean, in this order:
1. Defeat -- clear and uneqivocable -- in November;
2. Removal from the grounds at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in January, by force if necessary;
3. Indictment and arrest;
4. Once in custody, then the apoplexy we've all been hoping for.
5. He remains conscious and aware, but paralyzed;
5. As an inmate, he would receive care -- and maybe exposure to numerous viruses -- at the corrections infirmary;
6. Interment of his remains in a cemetary that is not part of the US National Cemetary System but is open to the public, where I can park a food truck at the gate, selling asparagus, beer and watermelon. Directions to the gravesite would be free.
