His supporters are transactional in the same way he is. They already knew he was a disrespectful asshole... none of this is going to surprise anyone unfortunately its not even new. Almost everyone already knows how they're going to vote. Nothing between now and November will make a difference. That's one of the reasons why so few people watched the Conventions this year. They know who the candidates are, and whom they're going to vote for.

So even though these articles like the one in the Atlantic are useful and informative, they're not going to change many opinions.

7. Voters place Military Service up there HIGH on their lists....

Someone knows of someone who served, are serving, or have served themselves. They get emotional when they see others in their Dress uniforms.

The National Anthem may take on another perspective now that Trump's views on Military service has come out. Anger is one of the emotions millions will be feeling as this news progress.
