Thinking here, that maybe the rethugs talk of voting twice could be their way to SLOW

The voting process down inside? If they ALL ask to ck the ballot before voting, that would slow the whole process down! Piss people off and thinking they would go home? I think their game plan is to disrupt and slow down as much as they can?

Yes. The longer people have to wait in line (or on line if you're in NY) the more likely Liberal In Texas Sep 2020 #14

and under federal law. If you submit an absentee ballot and find out that it was never received you can apply for another, or you can then vote in person. But you can't intentionally vote twice. If your absentee ballot was received and accepted and then you show up at the polls to vote, you will have a lotta 'splainin' to do because your previous ballot will have been recorded.

What if they say they are just checking to see if my ballots received! (WE all know that can be done online) NOT actually voting twice, but just making lines longer and process slower! That's what i'm saying.

Yes, that would slow up the process, but not that many of even the dumbest of the Trumpies are going to stand in line themselves (remember, those lines would be slower for them, too) just for that. There's still a pandemic going on, and although polling places are going to ask (or require) people to wear masks, a lot of Trumpies are starting to figure out that it's real.

But if that's the purpose of that person doing that, it's probably something they'd stand in line for. Just saying.

Basically putting on the act that they didn't know they could check online, and so on. When they're only purpose is to hold up the line and test people's patience. However, have to keep in mind that there would be other Trump voters behind that person in line who's patience would be getting tested as well.

Definitely possible. Almost like a filibuster. Contrive a way to make a 5 minute or longer conversation about the whole thing. Especially at the time of day when most people are heading to work or school....and also within an hour or so of the polls closing. It won't be coincidental the time of day on election day most of this would happen.

it will be for them to give up and go home. (Not everyone is as determined as the average DUer.)

This is why repubs are closing polling places and shortening early voting.
